Welcome to the official website for the Westminster Community Association, Inc.

Westminster is a beautiful gated community located in southwest Lehigh Acres, Florida; east of Fort Myers.  This Country Club community is centrally located with close proximity to three exits with access to I-75, within minutes of Southwest Florida International Airport, FGCU, Fenway Park and an abundance of shopping and restraunts.  Just a short drive to enjoy Southwest Floridas Gulf Beaches of Sanibel Island, Captiva and Ft. Myers Beach,

Westminster was under construction from 1997-2006 as a guard gated, deed restricted community, with 5 miles of private tree lined streets named after England cities. This beautifully maintained community features eleven lakes, which wrap around 50 acres of preserves.  This amenity rich community features a spacious community center, catering kitchen, billiards and a fitness center.  The expansive amenity campus includes a very active tennis & pickleball league(s) bocce ball, basketball, playground and a newly added picnic pavillion.  

Westminster is non-age restricted Golf Cart Community with full-time and seasonal residents.  Our residents bring a strong sense of community for families, empty-nesters and seasonal living.  Enjoy a diverse social calender including: bridge, poker, rummikub, knitting, book club, bingo and mah-jongg. Gather with friends in the billiards and card room to shoot a game of pool or a night of poker.  Enjoy resident led water aerobics several times weekly at the community pool with a spacious pool deck with oversized umbrellas, patio benches/tables and chaise lounges for fun in the sun.  Enjoy gathering with friends at the outdoor covered summer porch, or relaxing in the spa.  Enjoy various social functions including food trucks, holiday parties, pot-lucks and social gatherings for every age!

Westminster features 620 total residential doors made up of single family homes, with four neighborhood associations featuring twin-villas and condomiunium units.  This resort community is surrounded by an abundance of green space with expansive lake and preserve view lots. Westminster shares it's community with The Club at Westminster, a semi-private golf course originally designed by Arthur Rutenberg with a full service resturaunt/bar; open to the public.  At Westminster you can enjoy Country Club living without mandatory Golf Membership!

Q:Do I have to be a member in any other association?  If so, what is the name of the association and what are my voting rights in this association?Also,how much are my assessments?

IMPORTANT NOTICE RELATED TO ACCESS FOB DISTRIBUTION:

 

 

Please continute to use the current fobs/cards till such time that the upgrade has taken place.  We will send a notice to the Crier.

 

These access fob/card operate the pedestrian gates for the pool, community center/gym and tennis courts once the access panel and will be active once the upgrade is done. Please hold on to current FOB and CARDS until there is notice in the Crier that the upgrade has been completed.

2023 WESTMINSTER ASSESSMENT AND PAYMENT OPTION(S) AND MAILING INFORMATION

 

On October 18, 2022, Westminster Community Association, Inc. adopted the 2023 BudgetQuarterly assessments for 2023 are $391 due the 1st of January, April, July, and October.  If you’ve already set up electronic payments, be sure to adjust bank drafts and auto-payments to reflect the new quarterly amount starting in January to avoid interest and late fees. 

 

Assessments paid after the 10th of the month will accrue interest and late fees, which will be added to the parcel’s ledger updated monthly.  Accrued delinquency, late fees and interest are not waived.  The Association doesn’t waive lates fees or interest on delinquency, so it’s important to ensure your account remains current. 

 

Assessments cover budgeted expenses to the Master Common areas which includes the community center, fitness center, billiard room, pool/spa, tennis/pickleball courts, playground, basketball, front/rear gates, 24-7 gate staff, lake maintenance, common area insurance, common area landscaped maintenance, streetlights, street signs, irrigation infrastructure/maintenance, perimeter fencing, common area insurance and on-site management.  Coupon books for 2023 will be mailed to arrive in late December 2022, so plan accordingly. 

 

Please make sure that your address is updated with Coastal Association.  Please log on to Caliber with your account # to make changes to your information, address, etc.  Please make sure to check or add your current email address on-file to be included in regular office and financial correspondence.
